6 years agoWith Houston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa (back) on the shelf and first baseman Yuli Gurriel on paternity leave, the team had to do some shuffling in their lineup for Thursday. Tyler White will start at first base and Marwin Gonzalez will start at shortstop. Brian McCann is back behind the plate to catch for Lance McCullers Jr., and Jake Marisnick will man right field. The Astros lineup is a threat for any pitcher, though Ryne Stanek has been outstanding for the Tampa Bay Rays this season. Expect there to be a feeling-out process between hitter and pitcher early in the game, but one Astro you should definitely start is Alex Bregman. The third baseman has been absolutely on fire in the last seven days, batting .370 with 10 hits and seven runs batted in.--Mauricio Castillo
