7 years agoHouston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa (back) isn't expected to return to the team for at least another week. Correa is attempting to rehab a sore lower back and has been unable to participate in baseball activity. Correa hasn't played since June 25 and it does not appear that he will return to action anytime soon. Marwin Gonzalez has been seeing starts at shortstop in his absence and will likely continue to for as long as Correa is out. With Correa out for at least another week and likely into the middle of August, Gonzalez is worth a pickup in leagues where he is still a free agent.--Dan Fappiano
