4 months agoMinnesota Twins shortstop Carlos Correa (foot) was in the team's clubhouse on Monday before the series opener against the visiting Philadelphia Phillies in a walking boot. Correa said the boot will stay on for a few more days and he's unsure if he'll resume baseball activities immediately after that. He's hoping he's not out longer than another week or two. The 29-year-old All-Star shortstop isn't going to be ready to return to the Twins in the minimum 10 days after he was put on the injured list on Saturday with right plantar fasciitis. The Puerto Rican infielder needs to be stashed in all fantasy formats while hitting .308/.377/.520 on the year with an .896 OPS, 13 homers and 47 RBI, but this injury is worrisome for him the rest of the way.
