2 years agoMinnesota Twins shortstop Carlos Correa (foot) is in the starting lineup on Friday despite dealing with an injury. Correa was scratched from Tuesday's contest due to plantar fasciitis in his left heel. This is the type of injury that can really only be healed with rest. Manager Rocco Baldelli said the organization is hopeful that Correa can avoid a trip to the injured list. It sounds like the team is going to monitor Correa and give him extra rest if he needs it. He'll cover shortstop and bat second against Toronto Blue Jays' right-hander Kevin Gausman on Friday.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
