Carlos Correa Getting The Day Off On Saturday
2 years agoMinnesota Twins shortstop Carlos Correa is sitting out on Saturday vs. the Tampa Bay Rays. This is just a scheduled day of rest for the 27-year-old. He's been swinging a hot bat over the last few weeks and should be ready to go for the series finale against the Rays on Sunday. On the season, Correa owns a .296/.363/.461 batting line to go along with five home runs and 19 RBI over 152 at-bats. Nick Gordon is starting at shortstop and batting eighth in his place.
