1 year agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco has been waived by the team on Tuesday. The Mets have really struggled this season, but so has Carrasco. He has a 6.60 ERA, 1.70 WHIP in over 90 innings of work. At this point, the Mets are just trying to get some salary relief for the veteran pitcher. There was already a handful of other pitchers waived on Tuesday as well. Honestly, Carrasco has pitched the worst out of them all. That being said, playoff contending teams will probably all look elsewhere before considering Carrasco. A change of scenery isn't going to make him worth a gamble in fantasy leagues.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
