4 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco (hamstring) will soon fly to the team's alternate site in Brooklyn to begin doing fielding work and to pitch a five-inning simulated game. Mets manager Luis Rojas stated on Monday that Carrasco is currently stretched out to four innings on the mound and "is doing really good right now." Assuming Carrasco suffers no setbacks in his rehab, speculation is that he will return to the Mets sometime in late April or early May. Fantasy managers who drafted and stashed the Mets starting pitcher may be able to slot him back into their lineups within the next three to four weeks.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
