2 years agoThe New York Mets placed right-hander Carlos Carrasco (oblique) on the 15-day injured list on Tuesday. The veteran was diagnosed with a low-grade left oblique strain and he is expected to miss three to four weeks. His next turn in the rotation is this coming Saturday against the Philadelphia Phillies. The team has yet to announce who will take his spot in the rotation, but the most likely candidates are David Peterson and Trevor Williams. Carrasco has made 23 starts this year and he's gone 13-5 with a 3.92 ERA and a 1.30 WHIP.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
