Carlos Carrasco Leaves Game In Fourth Inning
6 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco (knee) left the game after four innings Tuesday night in his start against the Miami Marlins. Carrasco appeared to injure his knee covering first base. He stayed in to complete the inning but did not come back out for the fifth. Carrasco was in the middle of a dominant outing, striking out four and allowing just two hits in his four shutout innings. Finishing the inning is a promising sign that he was pulled for precautionary reasons, but this will be something to keep an eye on looking ahead to what is expected to be a two-start week for the Indians pitcher.
