Carlos Carrasco Dominates the Blue Jays on Friday
6 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco was completely dominant on Friday but was denied a victory. In eight innings, he allowed just one earned run (two runs total) on six hits and one walks while striking out 14. He very much deserved his 17th win of the season, but Cleveland ultimately ended up losing this one in extra innings. With a top three of Corey Kluber, Carrasco, and Mike Clevinger, Cleveland is looking like a tough draw in the playoffs, especially if Trevor Bauer (leg) returns to the rotation.
