Carl Edwards Jr. Shut Down From Throwing
1 year agoWashington Nationals relief pitcher Carl Edwards Jr. (shoulder) has been shut down from throwing for the time being. The right-hander has been rehabbing a shoulder injury and came away from an outing feeling some discomfort in his shoulder. The team did additional testing which revealed a stress reaction in his right shoulder. The right-hander has been sidelined since mid-June due to shoulder inflammation. The veteran reliever will stop his rehab assignment for now, so his 2023 campaign could possibly be over.
