6 years agoBrooklyn Nets shooting guard Caris Levert suffered what appears to be a serious right leg injury during Monday’s loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Prior to his departure, he scored 10 points on 5-for-12 shooting in 17 minutes of action. Considering the scene surrounding his injury, which included LeVert being carted off the court, his return in 2018-19 seems to be in doubt. He entered play Monday as the Nets’ leading scorer at 19 points per game, having a breakout third professional season. Without LeVert, the Nets could turn to a plethora of wing options, all of whom are worth monitoring to see who earns minutes and shots as the situation shakes out.--Jesse Borek
