Montreal Canadiens goalie Carey Price is still shaking off the rust but has impressive stats in his last two outings. Despite losing to New Jersey on Sunday, his stat line was slightly better than what he posted in last week’s win over Detroit. After allowing five and six goals, respectively, in his first two games back from injury, Price has looked more like himself. The goaltender stopped 30 of 32 shots on Sunday and held the Devils scoreless through two frames. Nico Hischier finally solved him in the first minute of the third period and fed Taylor Hall on a breakaway fresh out of the penalty box, netting the game-winner. Price’s 2.03 goals-against average and .938 save percentage are much better than his season stats (3.05 GAA and .902 save percentage). This was definitely a down year for Price, but it should reasonably be an anomaly for him.--Kevin Acorn
