Carey Price Enters Player Assistance Program
3 years agoMontreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price will be out indefinitely after voluntarily entering the NHL/NHLPA player assistance program on Thursday. The 34-year-old was already set to miss the start of the season while still recovering from off-season knee surgery. Price posted a 12-7-5 record to go along with a 2.64 goals-against average and a .901 save percentage in 25 starts last season and was instrumental in his team's surprise appearance in the Stanley Cup Final. Expect Jake Allen (38% owned in Yahoo! leagues) to take over the starting role while Price is out.
