Cardinals Want To Re-Sign Kenyan Drake
5 years agoArizona Cardinals general manager Steve Keim said that the team "would certainly love to have Kenyan Drake back" in 2020. The Cardinals simply didn't acquire Drake from the Dolphins this year just because both David Johnson and Chase Edmonds were injured at the time. Drake is scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent in March, but Arizona could look to keep him around with Johnson's long-term status with the club up in the air. The 25-year-old has become Arizona's lead back because of Johnson's injury riddled campaign, and he's impressed given the opportunity. He went for a season-high 22 carries, 137 yards and four touchdowns in Week 15 against Cleveland and will be an RB2 this weekend against Seattle.
