6 years agoThe St. Louis Cardinals are set to acquire first baseman Matt Adams from the Washington Nationals. With the Nationals finally admitting that their 2018 playoff hopes are over, they've reportedly traded both Adams and Daniel Murphy. Adams has been solid this season, hitting .257/.332/.510 with 18 home runs. He'll serve as a power bat off the bench for St. Louis and should get occasional starts against right-handed pitchers. He could be a good DFS choice when he's in the lineup, but might not get consistent enough playing time for standard leagues.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
