Cardinals Release Michael Crabtree
5 years agoThe Arizona Cardinals released wide receiver Michael Crabtree on Monday after he was with the club for just over a month. He was inactive for the season opener before playing 30 combined snaps in the last two games, totaling four catches on five targets for just 22 yards. The Cardinals are using four-receiver sets on 62.2 percent of their plays, and Larry Fitzgerald, Christian Kirk, Damiere Byrd and rookie Keesean Johnson have carried the group so far through three weeks. Rookie Andy Isabella and Trent Sherfield comprise the rest of the team's receiving depth.
