7 years agoThe St. Louis Cardinals officially purchased the contract of right-handed pitcher Jack Flaherty from Triple-A Memphis. Flaherty will be taking the rotation spot of Adam Wainwright (hamstring) and there would seem to be a decent chance that if Flaherty excels in the first half of April, he could keep a rotation spot even once Wainwright is ready to return. Flaherty comes with plenty of risk, but has some significant upside in mixed leagues this season. He should already be owned in all keeper/dynasty formats.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
