Cardinals, John Mozeliak Close To Multi-Year Extension
2 years agoThe St. Louis Cardinals and president of baseball operations John Mozeliak are reportedly close to signing a multi-year contract extension, per MLB.com's John Denton. The extension is thought to be through the 2025 season. Mozeliak has overseen the construction of 15 straight St. Louis teams with winning records. The team comprises some core fantasy infielders in Paul Goldschmidt, Nolan Arenado, and Willson Contreras, as well as 2022 breakout relief pitcher Ryan Helsley. However, there are a number of other young hitters competing for significant roles who could also arise as intriguing fantasy options through spring training.
