Cardinals Defense Is A Low-End Starting Option
4 years agoThe Cardinals Defense could be in position for a solid performance in Week 9. Coming off a bye, the team faces the Miami Dolphins in what will be the second career start for quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. In Tagovailoa's first start, the offense managed just 145 total yards. Granted, the Dolphins offense wasn't on the field much in Week 8 as the team scored three touchdowns through their defense and special teams, but still, the Dolphins offense behind Tagovailoa is suspect right now, especially with lead running back Myles Gaskin (knee) now on Injured Reserve. The Cardinals Defense should be able to keep the Dolphins in check and hold them to around or under 20 points in the game. They are a low-end starting option in Week 9.
