Camilo Doval Picks Up The Win On Wednesday
2 years agoSan Francisco Giants pitcher Camilo Doval allowed one hit while striking out two across a scoreless inning during Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks. He entered the ninth inning during a tied 3-3 game. The 25-year-old tossed a scoreless inning to preserve the tie. He picked up the win when the Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford drove in the game-winning run with an RBI single. Doval is entrenched as San Francisco's closer, owning a 3-4 record, 12 saves, 45 strikeouts, a 3.19 ERA, 1.25 WHIP, and 45 strikeouts over 36 2/3 innings.
