Camilo Doval Converts His Third Save On Saturday
3 years agoSan Francisco Giants relief pitcher Camilo Doval put a cap on the team's 5-2 victory over the Washington Nationals on Saturday to earn his third save of the year. He pitched a scoreless ninth inning, allowing one hit and no walks while striking out one. After blowing his first save attempt this season, he has now converted three straight. Unfortunately for Doval, Jake McGee is still very much in the picture. McGee is 2-for-2 in save opportunities and he had the team's most recent one before Saturday. The 10-5 Giants should provide ample save opportunities going forward, so fantasy managers in leagues where saves are scarce should make sure that both Doval and McGee are rostered.
