Camilo Doval Blows Save, Takes Loss Tuesday
1 year agoSan Francisco Giants closer Camilo Doval blew his sixth save of the season and picked up his fourth loss in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Phillies. Doval entered the game to pitch the bottom of the ninth inning up by one. He hit the leadoff batter, got the first out on a flyout, allowed a single, intentionally walked the bases loaded, and ended the game on a two-RBI single. Despite this game, Doval has been one of fantasy's top closers this season, notching 33 saves with a 2.60 ERA and 12.20 K/9 rate. Fantasy managers should have him in their lineups at all times.
