Cameron Young Looks To Bounce Back At BMW Championship
3 months agoCameron Young has been considered a rising star since joining the Tour in 2022, and while he's had his share of ups and downs this season, his form over the last few weeks has given fantasy managers a glimmer of hope. The 27-year-old Wake Forest alum posted back-to-back top-10 finishes in late June, before finishing outside of the top-20 in his three subsequent events, most recently with a T61 at last week's FedEx St. Jude Championship. But Young should be a solid course fit for Castle Pines Golf Club, as he ranks third in driving distance, 27th in weighted approach play, 13th weighted around-the-green, seventh in opportunities gained, and 11th in birdie-or-better percentage over the last 24 rounds. Young could be a sneaky, low-owned option with upside at his $8,500 DraftKings salary this week, and fantasy managers should be open to considering investing in him at the BMW Championship.
