Cameron Smith Posts Top-10 At CJ Cup
6 years agoCameron Smith shot an 11-under par in South Korea to finish in a share of seventh place. For Smith, the result marks his fifth top-25 finish in his previous six tournaments, which includes three top-seven showings. The 25-year-old is one of the premier young players in the game, and it won't be long before he wins his first solo title on tour. Smith will quickly be back in action for the WGC-HSBC in China this week. In his only other appearance at Sheshan International in 2015, the 31st-ranked player in the world finished in a share of 64th place. Smith doesn't grade out particularly well for the course this week, ranking just 32nd in strokes gained approach and 49th in strokes gained off the tee in his previous 24 rounds, but his $8,200 price tag makes him an affordable option for a player in form.
