Cameron Champ's run of poor play has been certainly jarring for fantasy managers. The Texas A & M product has now missed four consecutive cuts and not recorded a top-10 finish on Tour since the Zozo Championship in October. The biggest reason for Champ's downturn has been a faulty putter. The two-time PGA Tour winner has lost strokes putting in 11 of 12 starts this season, and he currently ranks 144th out of 156th players in this field in strokes gained putting over his last 36 rounds. While Champ's off the tee game has remained solid, the easiest formula for success at TPC Deere Run is elite wedge play and a hot putter. Champ is neither hitting his wedges well nor putting well right now. He should not be considered this week at the John Deere Classic. --Andy Lack
