Cam Ward Considered The Consensus No. 1 QB
18 seconds agoUniversity of Miami quarterback Cam Ward is the consensus No. 1 QB in this year's draft class, by a comfortable margin, according to some. However, Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders' pocket-passing ability is appreciated and will make for an easy transition to the next level, which means he could be a slightly better option for the Tennessee Titans at No. 1 overall, according to multiple scouts. But the same scouts think that the Titans' three primary options will be Ward, Penn State defensive end Abdul Carter and trading out of the top spot. ESPN's Turron Davenport and Jeremy Fowler report that the majority of league personnel surveyed think that the Titans prefer to trade back. Both the Giants (No. 3 overall) and Jets (No. 7) reportedly have interest in moving up, but it remains to be seen how aggressive they'll be in a class that lacks top-end signal-callers. Gaining more draft capital could prove to be very attractive for Tennessee as they rebuild.
