Cam Thomas Expected To Miss Rest Of The Season
18 seconds agoBrooklyn Nets guard Cam Thomas (hamstring) is expected to miss the remainder of the 2024-25 campaign. He has another left hamstring strain, with the team ruling him out due to "the number of days remaining in the schedule and the time needed to appropriately recover." Outside of the injuries, the 23-year-old had an excellent season, averaging career-highs in points (24.0), rebounds (3.3), and assists (3.8). But with Thomas and the organization failing to reach a contract agreement early in the season, he'll become a restricted free agent this summer. Without question, the 2021 No. 27 overall pick is loaded with talent. However, Thomas' inability to stay healthy will negatively impact his fantasy stock moving ahead. Without Thomas on the floor, guys like Tyrese Martin and Keon Johnson should benefit.
