6 years agoEdmonton Oilers goaltender Cam Talbot will make his first start since Nov. 25 on Wednesday, taking on the St. Louis Blues. The 31-year-old has been resigned to a backup role following a horrendous start to the season (3.29 goals-against average, .889 save percentage), starting in just two of the Oilers' past ten contests. Talbot's ownership in Yahoo! leagues has dropped to 59% and prospective fantasy owners will likely need to see a string of respectable starts from the netminder before picking him up again. Considering the Blues have scored three goals or more in four of the team's past five games, it might be best to keep him stapled to the bench once again on Wednesday.--Chase Davis - RotoBaller
