6 years agoCarolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton is a good option for fantasy owners this week. Coming off the back of a mediocre performance against the New York Giants Newton will look to bounce back against the Washington Redskins. The Redskins are one of the better defenses against quarterbacks so far this season (on average points per game), however, it is worth noting that they are around the middle of the league in quarterback rushes against them. Newton's dual threat of pass or rush, combined with the return of tight end Greg Olsen, means that Newton should be able to give a decent haul of points to fantasy owners.--Richard King - RotoBaller
