St. Louis Blues defenseman Cam Fowler (personal) returned to practice on Tuesday. Fowler was unable to play in their previous contest on Saturday against the Los Angeles Kings due to the birth of his child. However, it appears Fowler is in line to return to the starting lineup on Thursday evening to face the Pittsburgh Penguins. Over his previous six contests, Fowler has found the back of the net once and added five helpers. During this span he has held a +4 rating while tallying nine shots on goal with six blocked shots. Since being traded to the Blues from the Anaheim Ducks in December, Fowler has enjoyed an offensive surge as he has tallied 21 points (seven goals) across 32 games. Over his first 19 games with the Ducks, Fowler tallied just four points (all helpers). He should return to his role on the top pairing alongside Nick Leddy.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller

St. Louis Blues defenseman Cam Fowler had a special performance in Thursday's Game 3 victory over the Winnipeg Jets, recording one goal and four assists in a 7-2 win. He set a new franchise record for the most points in a playoff game by a defenseman and became the ninth blue-liner in league history to put up five or more points in a postseason outing. Fowler, who collected three helpers on the power play, did his damage in 19:03 of ice time. His contributions included two blocks and two hits. The postseason has started extremely well for Fowler, as he is tied for the scoring lead with seven points (one goal, six assists) in three games.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

The St. Louis Blues have acquired defenseman Cam Fowler in a trade with the Anaheim Ducks. In the transaction, St. Louis sent a 2027 second-round pick and minor league defenseman Jeremie Biakabutuka to Anaheim for Fowler and a 2027 fourth-round pick. Anaheim retains 38.5 percent of Fowler's $6.5 million cap hit as part of the deal. Fowler has so far spent his entire career with the Ducks, skating in 991 games and recording 457 points (96 goals, 361 assists). However, his play has largely been ineffective this season despite Fowler seeing over 21 minutes of ice time on average. He will likely get less usage in St. Louis but should still have an important role to play, with the Blues defense missing Nick Leddy (lower body).--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Anaheim Ducks defenseman Cam Fowler (upper body) will return to the lineup on Wednesday against Vegas. The veteran has missed a month of action due to an upper-body injury. Fowler's return will send Pavel Mintyukov to the press box as a healthy scratch. Having earned his lone points via two assists in 12 appearances this season, Fowler has been a disappointment for fantasy managers. The Ducks will need a lot more from him going forward. Fowler will join Radko Gudas on the first defensive pairing for Wednesday's game.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Anaheim Ducks defenseman Cam Fowler (upper body) is expected to miss 2-4 weeks. He has already been out for four games, and it looks like we won't be seeing him until December. The veteran defenseman has been limited to two assists in 12 games with 10 shots. However, he's averaged close to two blocks per game, and the Ducks will surely miss Fowler's defensive ability. Urho Vaakanainen (upper body) stepped into the lineup to cover for Fowler, but he has also suffered an injury. Drew Helleson was the next man up against Detroit on Friday. He tallied two assists in his season debut. Fantasy managers shouldn't expect a repeat of the performance because Helleson is mainly seen as a physical presence on the team.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
