5 years agoLos Angeles Angels pitcher Cam Bedrosian will serve as opener Monday when the Angels play a quick one-game series against the Cubs. He will open the game for teammate Trevor Cahill, who has posted an 8.22 ERA over his last five starts. The Angels have seen some positive results using an opener in front of Felix Pena this season and the hope is this could jump-start a quality start from Cahill. Bedrosian has allowed two runs in 4 2/3 innings as an opener this season and in 26 total appearances this season will come into the game with a 3.08 ERA.--Joey C - RotoBaller
