2 years agoLos Angeles Rams running back Cam Akers, who will be inactive in Week 6 due to personal reasons, is expected to generate trade interest in the near future. NFL.com's Ian Rapoport notes that the Rams are "open to a deal for the right value." The entire situation has played out in a unique fashion, with head coach Sean McVay explaining that Akers' personal matter is related to internal issues. "I would say it's more like we're dealing with things internally," he explained. "This is kind of unchartered territory and I think the biggest thing is, out of respect for the situation, we want to keep it internally." Evidently, it looks like the two sides aren't seeing eye to eye, and it could lead to a divorce. For the time being, Darrell Henderson will operate as the lead back, ranking as a fringe top-24 option in fantasy football.
