Calvin Ridley Torches Texans For 89 Yards And A Score
12 months agoJacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Calvin Ridley caught five passes on six targets for 89 yards and a touchdown in a 24-21 road victory over the Houston Texans. After recording zero receptions on only one target in the first half, Ridley and quarterback Trevor Lawrence caught fire in the second and were nearly unstoppable. The duo hooked up for a one-yard score in the third quarter where Ridley completely lost his defender, and then once again the very next play for a two-point conversion. The twenty-eight-year-old wideout certainly gave fantasy managers a scare with his goose egg first half but the rapport between him and Lawrence was on full display in the second half. That is now consecutive top-10 WR performances from Ridley, who appears to be gearing up for a strong second half of the season. Up next is a home matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 13.
