Calvin Ridley Out For At Least Three Games
3 years agoThe Atlanta Falcons placed wide receiver Calvin Ridley on the Reserve/Non-Football Injury list on Friday, which means that he'll be out for at least the next three games while dealing with personal issues. Ridley issued a statement last Sunday that he's stepping away from football indefinitely, so fantasy managers need to be prepared for Ridley possibly missing even more than the next three games. Since we don't know exactly when he might be back, fantasy managers need to hold him until further notice. Russell Gage, who had zero targets last week with Ridley out, Tajae Sharpe and rookie tight end Kyle Pitts figure to be the team's top three pass-catchers with Ridley out indefinitely. At best, Gage and Sharpe will be boom/bust WR4/flex assets heading into a Week 9 matchup against the New Orleans Saints.
