Calvin Ridley Logs 21 Yards In First NFL Action Since 2021
1 year agoJacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Calvin Ridley hauled in both of his targets for 21 yards in the team's preseason opener against the Cowboys. It was the 28-year-old's first real game action in almost two years after being suspended last season for gambling. The sample size is minuscule, but Ridley showed great timing with quarterback Trevor Lawrence on both catches. In a game that saw 20 different Jaguars players draw a target, Ridley was hardly the focus of the offense. The former first-round pick still projects to be the top wideout in Jacksonville and has received rave reviews in camp. Hopefully, Ridley can produce more in the next couple of exhibition games to give fantasy managers more confidence in his fourth-round ADP.
