Calvin Ridley Impresses At First OTAs Since Being Reinstated
2 years agoJacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Calvin Ridley looked good on the Jags' first day of organized team activities. Offensive coordinator Press Taylor said, "I've been really impressed with Calvin. I've watched every snap Calvin's played in the NFL, just like a lot of our guys have. So we're very confident in the player we're getting." The Jaguars tweeted a video of Ridley moving his feet quickly in an agility ladder drill with the comment, "Slow feet, don't eat." Ridley caught 31 passes for 281 yards and two touchdowns in five games with the Falcons in 2021, his last season of NFL action, but he was impacted by mental health issues that season. In 2020, which was his last full season, he caught 90 passes for 1,374 yards and nine touchdowns.
