5 years agoAtlanta Falcons wide receiver Calvin Ridley bounced back in a big way from last week's catch-less game. Ridley was said to be "up to full speed" after dealing with nagging injuries and he sure looked like it, hauling in eight of 10 targets for a game-high 136 receiving yards. Aside from his Week 4 goose egg, Ridley has been outstanding, with at least 10 targets and 100 receiving yards in every game, along with four total touchdowns. He is an elite WR1 with a smash spot coming up against a Vikings Defense allowing the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing wideouts.--Tim Capurso

3 months agoTennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley enters the final game of the season against the Houston Texans, coming off a decent performance against the Jaguars, catching five balls on six targets for 84 yards. It's been a rocky road for Ridley this season, but he has stepped it up in the last couple of weeks to warrant some more confidence in him. He's also just 59 receiving yards shy of the 1,000 mark for 2024 and could see some more attention from his quarterbacks to reach that milestone against Houston. However, the Titans will supposedly be switching between Will Levis and Mason Rudolph this week at QB, which might harsh Ridley's ability to find a groove. The Texans also allow just 199.3 yards per game through the air–sixth-best in the league. There are a lot of factors at play, but Ridley still has enough fantasy momentum to be considered a WR2/WR3 for Week 18.--Ricky Maloney - RotoBaller

3 months agoTennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley managed his second solid performance in a row in Week 17, hauling in five receptions for 84 yards and running for seven more on one attempt in Sunday's 20-13 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. It was Ridley's first time leading his team in receiving yards since Week 14–another matchup against Jacksonville. It was also his most in a game in his last five outings. Ridley still tied for second-most targets on Tennessee (six) with fellow WR Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, trailing behind tight end Chig Okonkwo yet again. However, after catching a touchdown last weekend, this is the best two-game stretch out of Ridley since the middle of the season. Next week, he's home against a Texans defense, allowing the fifth-most points to opposing fantasy wideouts this year.--Ricky Maloney - RotoBaller

3 months agoTennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley finally gave fantasy managers some hope last week, recording his first touchdown in six games in his matchup against the Colts. However, the headline of 78 receiving yards and a score is slightly diminished, with the realization that most of that came from a 38-yard house call in the first quarter. Ridley managed just two catches on four targets for the rest of the game–a clear No. 2 option to tight end Chig Okonkwo. On the bright side, this week he faces the Jaguars. Last time out against Jacksonville in Week 14, Ridley's 12 targets were by far the most on his team, leading to seven receptions for 59 yards through the air. But it should be noted that this was before the quarterback changed to Mason Rudolph. Still, the Jags give up the fourth-most points to fantasy wide receivers, and Ridley is the top wideout in Tennessee's offense. He's a WR3/FLEX for Week 17.--Ricky Maloney - RotoBaller

4 months agoTennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley hauled in three catches for 78 yards and a touchdown in a Week 16 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. The looks of these stats can be a bit deceiving. However, Ridley's 38-yard touchdown catch in the first quarter did a lot of the heavy lifting for his final numbers. He saw just five targets for the game–which was second-most for Tennessee, but still an underwhelming amount for an offense's WR1. Nevertheless, it was Ridley's first time finding the end zone in six weeks, revitalizing some hope for fantasy managers. He's a WR2/WR3 for Week 17 as the Titans head to Jacksonville.--Ricky Maloney - RotoBaller
