The Denver Broncos are expected to place offensive tackle Calvin Anderson (ankle, knee) on Injured Reserve on Thursday. Anderson is expected to recover in three to five weeks and will not need surgery. As long as Anderson doesn't have any setbacks along the way, the Broncos could get him back late in the season as they look to make a playoff push. With Garrett Bolles and Ja'Wuan James out in recent weeks, Anderson was filling in. The good news is that the Broncos are expected to get starting left tackle Bolles back this week in time for a crucial Sunday night meeting with the first-place Kansas City Chiefs. Anderson had been doing a nice job keeping Denver's offensive line afloat amid injuries to their starters, and he had seen playing time at both left and right tackle.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
