Dallas Mavericks guard/forward Caleb Martin (hip) has been tagged as questionable for Thursday's game against the Orlando Magic. He is attempting to return from a right hip strain but may remain sidelined for a sixth consecutive contest. We have seen very little of Martin in a Mavericks jersey, as he has made only five appearances for the team since being acquired from the Philadelphia 76ers. After moving to Texas, he has averaged 4.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in 19.2 minutes. However, the 29-year-old made his Mavericks debut on March 7 and has appeared in Dallas' previous five games. But now that Martin is out, the team is down to eight healthy bodies, meaning Naji Marshall, Klay Thompson, Spencer Dinwiddie, and Max Christie should see plenty of minutes, The same can be said for P.J. Martin arrived in Dallas with a hip injury on Feb. 4 but is finally ready to make his first appearance with the Mavericks. He is expected to play around 15 minutes. This questionable tag is the most promising status he's had on the injury report since then. It's unclear if he'd be under a minutes restriction or not.
