Caleb Martin Has A Decent Showing In Loss
Caleb Martin finished with 10 points in Wednesday's loss to the Boston Celtics. He added four boards and one assist. The 28-year-old was one of Miami's top rotational pieces during the regular season. He averaged a career-high 10 points. Unfortunately, he was limited to 64 games due to injury. That's been the theme for Martin throughout his career. He also isn't a consistent fantasy producer. Assuming he remains in Miami, he may battle for minutes with Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Nikola Jovic throughout the 2024-25 campaign. Martin's injury woes over the years are another reason fantasy managers may look the other way.

Caleb Martin Good To Go Thursday
Caleb Martin (hip) has been cleared to return from a five-game absence on Thursday against the Orlando Magic. He is poised to make his sixth appearance for the Mavericks, as health issues have hindered Martin's start at his new club. So far, Martin has averaged 4.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in 19.2 minutes with the team. He may play a bigger role in the rotation against Orlando due to P.J. Washington's (ankle) absence, but Martin is unlikely to have a significant impact in fantasy basketball.

Caleb Martin Questionable Thursday
Caleb Martin (hip) has been tagged as questionable for Thursday's game against the Orlando Magic. He is attempting to return from a right hip strain but may remain sidelined for a sixth consecutive contest. We have seen very little of Martin in a Mavericks jersey, as he has made only five appearances for the team since being acquired from the Philadelphia 76ers. After moving to Texas, he has averaged 4.6 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in 19.2 minutes. Fantasy managers should not expect too much from Martin, even if he is cleared to play.

Caleb Martin Ruled Out On Sunday
Caleb Martin (hip) won't play on Sunday versus the 76ers. He missed over a month because of a hip injury, dating back to his time with Philadelphia. However, the 29-year-old made his Mavericks debut on March 7 and has appeared in Dallas' previous five games. But now that Martin is out, the team is down to eight healthy bodies, meaning Naji Marshall, Klay Thompson, Spencer Dinwiddie, and Max Christie should see plenty of minutes, The same can be said for P.J. Washington (ankle), who will return on Sunday after missing the last seven games, and Brandon Williams (hamstring).

Caleb Martin Available For Mavericks Debut
Caleb Martin (hip) has been upgraded to available on the injury report, meaning he is set to make his debut for the team in Friday's matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies. Martin arrived in Dallas with a hip injury on Feb. 4 but is finally ready to make his first appearance with the Mavericks. He is expected to play around 15 minutes. Fantasy managers may not get much value from Martin on Friday, but he could turn into a significant asset once he has found his rhythm, especially since the Mavericks are short on healthy players.
