Caleb Baragar To Serve As Opener On Wednesday
4 years agoSan Francisco Giants pitcher Caleb Baragar will be making his first start of the year on Wednesday against the Colorado Rockies. He will likely be serving as an opener in the game. Logan Webb was originally slated to make the start, but will likely serve as the team's primary pitcher in the game instead. Webb got off to a decent start this year, but has an 8.15 ERA in September. Having Webb enter a game later could be a good way to get him back on track. Baragar, meanwhile has a 4.58 ERA and 1.07 WHIP over 21 appearances this year.
