The Seattle Kraken have promoted defenseman Cale Fleury to the NHL roster. In a corresponding move, the team transferred center Yanni Gourde (lower body) to long-term injured reserve. Fleury has operated as a depth piece in the lineup when on the NHL roster earlier in the season. Across his seven contests, the 26-year-old tallied one point (an assist) and logged 11 hits and 15 blocked shots. He also held a +2 rating and tallied seven shots on goal. Fantasy managers should expect Fleury to compete for a spot in the lineup alongside Josh Mahura and Ryker Evans. Evans missed five contests leading up to the international break, which could open the door for Fleury to return to the starting lineup on Saturday evening against the Florida Panthers.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
