Cal Raleigh Goes Yard Twice In Victory
5 months agoSeattle Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh had a huge game in Tuesday's blowout victory versus the San Diego Padres. The man known as the Big Dumper went 3-for-5 on the evening with three runs, a double and a pair of two-run homers. The backstop has been on a heater of late with eight hits over his last 25 at-bats to go along with three homers and five RBI in that span. For the season, he has 17 homers and 55 RBI, but it comes with a weak .210 batting average. Despite the low batting average, Raleigh's power makes him a strong option behind the plate. Hitting in the middle of the Mariners line with plenty of power, Raleigh should be rostered in all formats.
