1 year agoCleveland Guardians right-hander Cal Quantrill (shoulder) tossed a bullpen session on Saturday before throwing long toss on Monday. According to manager Terry Francona, the 28-year-old should now be ready for "an up-and-down bullpen session" on Tuesday. Quantrill landed on the injured list in early July after suffering right shoulder inflammation. There's still no timetable for the Canadian native's return, but he's progressing well so far and shouldn't be out for too long. Still, fantasy managers can feel comfortable dropping Quantrill, who owns a 6.45 ERA, 12.4% strikeout rate, and 1.57 WHIP across 67 innings.--Spencer Seguin
