3 months agoColorado Rockies right-hander Cal Quantrill (triceps) has been scratched from his scheduled start on Sunday at Coors Field against the visiting Baltimore Orioles due to right-triceps inflammation. Left-hander Ty Blach will make the start instead. Quantrill would have been a poor streaming option anyway against the Orioles in a hitter-friendly venue. It remains to be seen if the 29-year-old's injury is serious enough to put him on the injured list. He's mostly been inconsistent all year, especially in the second half, and currently has a 4.63 ERA and 1.42 WHIP while striking out 103 and walking a league-high 57 batters in 138 innings over 26 starts in his first year with the Rockies. Blach has been even worse in 18 outings (10 starts), yielding a 6.36 ERA, 1.69 WHIP and only striking out 34 in 63 2/3 frames.
