2 months agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitching prospect Caden Dana logged another dominant outing on Thursday evening. This time, he struck out seven batters across seven shutout frames. He allowed just four hits and one free pass. This was a nice bounce back for the right-hander has been in a bit of a slump over his last four starts, holding a 4.88 ERA and 1.04 WHIP. Through 111 innings at Double-A this summer, the 20-year-old has posted an excellent 2.91 ERA, 0.96 WHIP, and a 22:122 BB:K ratio. Dana could be on the verge of a Triple-A debut in the coming weeks.
