Caden Dana Strikes Out 10 In Complete Game On Friday
4 months agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitching prospect Caden Dana posted his first complete game of the season on Friday evening. He allowed just two runs, three hits, and one free pass while striking out 10 batters. This was his second time this season recording double-digit punchouts. This was a nice bounce back for the budding ace, as he has held a high 6.30 ERA and 1.35 WHIP across his previous four starts. Overall, the top prospect in the Los Angeles system has held an excellent 3.11 ERA, 0.98 WHIP, and a 32:115 BB:K ratio across 104 innings in his Double-A debut. Dana is considered to be the 88th-best prospect in all of baseball on MLB.com and should contend for his major league debut next summer.
