Cade Otton Could Have Increased Role Against The Panthers
2 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Cade Otton could see an increased role if teammate Cameron Brate (neck) is ruled out for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers. Brate hasn't practiced this week and is trending in the wrong direction toward suiting up on Sunday. Otton hauled in six catches for 43 yards in his only game without Brate this season. The Bucs' rookie tight end has 12 catches for 99 yards over six games in 2022. He will draw a plus matchup against the Panthers, who rank 23rd in DVOA against opposing tight ends. Otton becomes a borderline streaming tight-end option if Brate is ruled out ahead of Week 7.
