4 months agoDetroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham (hip) will rejoin the action on Friday versus Indiana. He was initially listed as questionable on the injury report. Cunningham returns from a three-game absence and lines up in a fascinating matchup against Tyrese Haliburton. The Pistons star outplayed his counterpart in this season's first meeting, netting 28 points with five rebounds, eight assists, and one steal. Cunningham's return will push Malik Beasley back to the bench, but he should still play a significant role in the rotation.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

5 hours agoDetroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham (calf) is probable heading into Saturday's matchup with the Grizzlies. He's missed the last six games because of a calf contusion. As a result, Dennis Schroder has been filling in at the one, most recently amassing 16 points, seven assists, and one steal in Friday's 117-105 win over the Toronto Raptors. Schroder will likely head back to the bench, assuming Cunningham is officially cleared to suit up, decreasing his fantasy potential. Cunningham's presence should also lead to fewer scoring opportunities for Tim Hardaway Jr. and Malik Beasley, with Marcus Sasser in danger of falling out of the rotation altogether.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller

23 hours agoDetroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham (calf) is unavailable for Friday's matchup with the Toronto Raptors. The All-Star point guard will miss his sixth consecutive contest with a left calf contusion. With Cunningham sidelined for one more game, Dennis SchroderTim Hardaway Jr., and Malik Beasley should all continue to receive an uptick in minutes. Especially with Tobias Harris (heel) also out, Schroder and Hardaway will be leaned on for more offense. Schroder finished with 15 points, seven assists, and four rebounds, while Hardaway posted 23 points (8-14 FG), three assists, and three rebounds in their last outing.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller

1 day agoDetroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham (calf) remains on the injury report for Friday's game against the Toronto Raptors. The All-Star point guard is considered questionable after missing the last five consecutive games with a left calf contusion. He was listed as doubtful ahead of their last game, so he seems to be trending in the right direction. If he's forced to miss one more game, Dennis Schroder, Tim Hardaway Jr., and Malik Beasley should all continue getting some extra minutes. Especially with Tobias Harris (heel) ruled out, Schroder and Hardaway will be leaned on for some more offense. In their last game, Schroder posted 15 points, seven assists, and four rebounds. Hardaway registered 23 points (8-14 FG), three assists, and three rebounds.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBaller

3 days agoDetroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham (calf) is listed as doubtful for Wednesday's contest against the Oklahoma City Thunder, making it likely that he will sit out a fifth consecutive game. A calf injury has paused his impressive season. Dennis Schroder is filling in for Cunningham as the starting point guard and will have an opportunity to post a third consecutive double-double in Wednesday's game. At the same time, Malik Beasley's offensive role has grown. He finished Sunday's loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves as Detroit's top scorer, hitting 6-for-13 from deep en route to 27 points.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
